Emergency Department Opportunities

Our Emergency Department (ED) is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit with a supportive leadership team that encourages learning, mentoring, and professional growth. As a Level I Trauma Magnet Facility, we practice at the highest level in emergency care.

• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Number of Beds: 80
• Open Statuses: PRN, Seasonal (13 weeks)
• Open Shifts: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Night)

Seasonal Commitment Information

• Full-time shifts/hours required for the 13-week contract (excluding the first week of orientation).
• Weekend requirements are the same as regular full-time roles.
• The first week consists of Monday–Friday orientation.
• This is a short-term (13-week) assignment as a Baylor employee (not contractual or agency).
• Opportunity to convert to a regular full-time, part-time, or PRN role after the assignment concludes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN – Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year of ED experience.
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
