About the Role
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department up to Level 1 trauma standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Prioritize and implement evidence-based practice in emergency settings.
- Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring.
- Contribute to safety and quality improvements at the point of care.
- Deliver emergency care, support trauma and pediatric patients, and adhere to evidence-based standards to improve patient outcomes in a dynamic, innovative setting.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
Qualifications
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma-related courses (required).
- Additional certifications such as PTC and ENPC (preferred).
