About the Role
Provide expert, compassionate care as part of the W.E.S.T. Float Team across multiple facilities in fast-paced Emergency Department settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, intervene, and evaluate emergency patients.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
- Respond promptly to critical situations and codes.
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC or ATCN preferred.
Skills
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability.
- Excellent teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
