RN - ED - Full Time - Nights - No weekends
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details
Full Time | 36 hrs/week | Shift: Nights (Monday–Thursday) – No weekends!
Experienced Nurses Only! SIGN-ON BONUS: Up to $7,500 for Experienced Nurses.
Must live within 45 minutes of Mercy Hospital Washington.
Responsibilities
- 26-bed Emergency Department serving the community 24/7
- No other trauma-rated or pediatric ED in the area—your skills matter here
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
- Supported by patient care techs, paramedics, and patient support associates
- Team culture: motivated, hardworking, and united
Requirements
- Current RN license (or compact license)
- Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications
