RN East Wing 3 Part time Nights **6/hr Premium Differential**

Erlanger Medical Center is seeking a registered professional nurse to provide direct and/or indirect care to patients, with a focus on compassionate and high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind and compassionate care to patients, including those with significant cognitive and/or functional impairment due to a variety of illnesses.
• Utilize strong assessment skills to gather and relay relevant patient data to the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Participate in the development of individualized, multidisciplinary treatment plans of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, ancillary departments, and community agencies.
• Supervise staff to ensure efficient completion of assignments, consistent delivery of excellent care, and smooth shift transitions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan to assess and interpret patient needs based on age-specific requirements.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients aged 15 and older.
• Administer pharmacological drugs as ordered, perform procedures, and operate equipment necessary for patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee (or multistate licensure from a compact state for non-Tennessee residents, obtained within three months of hire).
• BLS certification completed prior to unit/department assignment and maintained thereafter.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of general nursing principles, organizational policies, and current trends in healthcare.

Schedule

• Part-time, night shift.

Pay

• Additional $6/hour premium differential for this role.
