RN Director of Health & Housing 5000 Bonus

Westhaven, a senior care community managed by Cassia, is seeking an RN Director of Health & Housing to join our dedicated care team in Boone, IA. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a $5,000 bonus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize high-level collaboration skills with department directors to implement processes for resident care, dietary needs, maintenance, and safety.
• Ensure positive engagement between staff, residents, families, and guests by fostering an open-door atmosphere.
• Oversee staff development, hiring practices, in-service training sessions, performance feedback, and promote a strong teamwork environment.
• Lead sales and marketing initiatives to attract potential residents, meeting or exceeding occupancy and service-offering expectations.
• Maintain impeccable files to ensure compliance with proper documentation.
• Participate in the development of strategic long-range plans for the community and Cassia, including financial management.
• Direct and manage the care and well-being of assisted living (AL) residents.
• Delegate and manage AL staff.
• Assist residents and families with paperwork for admissions, change of status, etc.
• Coordinate staff education and onboarding.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and new developments in the Assisted Living field.

Requirements

• Current Iowa RN license or RN licensure within the compact states.
• 3+ years of staff supervisory/team leadership experience.
• IA Certification for Residential Care Facilities/Assisted Living or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Demonstrated success with prioritizing multiple tasks.
