About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Sanford Health is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include coordinating care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, is essential for planning, implementing, and evaluating care. The position requires a strong understanding of the nursing process and the ability to function within the full scope of nursing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide patient education and support
• Triage patients as needed
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing
• Required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and maintains required department specific licensure, competencies, and certifications

Pay

$27 - $38.50 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
