Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing [BSN]).
Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the hiring state and/or hold a valid compact license in the state where nursing duties are performed. The individual is responsible for meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or successful completion within 30 days of hire
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Program (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support)
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout each shift
- Ability to perform essential physical movements, including gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to fulfill job duties
