RN Dialysis
About the Role
As our Registered Nurse for the Kidney Dialysis Unit, you will help patients with renal conditions receive high-quality, compassionate care to achieve optimal health outcomes. Every day you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care for patients receiving dialysis treatments. You will supervise care according to policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act. To succeed, you must deliver comprehensive patient care while adhering to established standards.
Responsibilities

- Assure quality of care by following policies, philosophies, and standards regulated by the ND State Board of Nursing, the ND Nurse Practice Act, and other governing agencies.
- Utilize the nursing process—planning, assessment, intervention, and evaluation—to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care focused on optimal patient outcomes.
- Meet the educational needs of patients, families, and co-workers using principles and current professional literature to achieve positive learning outcomes.
- Delegate nursing care based on knowledge of staff qualifications, competencies, and individual patient care needs.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.
- Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of North Dakota or a compact state (Graduate Nurse/G.N. must practice under supervision while work authorization is valid).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (must be completed within the orientation period and maintained as required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Pay
$31.77 - $44.87 per hour.
