RN, DIABETES CLINICIAN EXEMPT - DIABETES AND NUTRITION CTR

About the role

This position provides high quality, compassionate healthcare promoting health and wellness in our community. The diabetes clinician works directly with patients and their families to provide individual and group education and support to people with diabetes and other chronic health conditions.

Requirements

• One of the following minimum education credentials:
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Dietitian – Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Social Worker – Master’s degree (MSW)
  • Exercise Physiologist – Master’s degree
• Licensure required by the State of Alabama dependent on professional designation
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer
• Exercise Physiologist must obtain certification within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience in nursing, dietetics, social work, or exercise physiology, including patients with diabetes
