Responsibilities

• Works with residents in the Memory Care Assisted Living Facility.
• Assists the Wellness Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating day-to-day functions of the wellness department.
• Assists in periodic resident assessments and care planning.
• Supervises and mentors nursing staff.
• Participates in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience working in Assisted Living.
• Some experience working with dementia required.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good communication skills.
• RN Degree with at least two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience in nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience with a home health care agency or community health program that included care of the sick is preferred.
