Staff Designer

About the role

Learn the renewable energy development and execution process by working with Euclid’s team and customers that are actively executing on over 1GW of renewable energy projects. Work with customers and the Euclid services team to understand the most important user needs and workflows to improve the existing product.

• Design, from sketches through high-fidelity mock-ups, improvements to the Euclid platform
• Contribute to our design system and help advance our AI-assisted design workflows
• Aid in the translation and redesign of existing third-party hosted tools into Euclid’s platform
• Lead the design of new features beyond Euclid’s core platform based on significant demand from existing customers
• Work with product and founding teams to prioritize, design, and iterate on products that will delight renewable energy developers and investors
• Honor Euclid’s brand within the product
• Be a team amplifier and leader through mentorship and by sharing skills and knowledge

Requirements

• 8+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience in web-based enterprise software, with a track record of leading the design, feel, and flow of product improvements based on customer feedback and needs
• Passionate about building great software that supports renewable energy deployment, and excited by the opportunity to grow a product serving hundreds of the largest customers in the space — tying design decisions to real business outcomes
• Systems-level thinker who can distill complex IA, taxonomy, and object-level problems into a simplified, universal product experience
• Detail- and polish-oriented, with an unsatisfiable drive to create delightful, best-in-class experiences for enterprise users
• A strong communicator and collaborator who can partner with product and founding teams, explain design decisions and trade-offs to any audience (founders, PMs, engineers, other designers), and translate our proven diligence, execution, and data tools into better product experiences
• Scrappy, entrepreneurial self-starter who can take direction, generate numerous viable design directions, and test them with early customers in a resource-limited environment
• Skilled with modern design and AI-assisted workflows (Figma, Claude, Paper, etc.), and grounded in real customer research to test, inform, and validate design thinking
