RN - Dedicated Educator - Neurology - Days - Full-Time

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse in Neurology 6C provides direct patient care for individuals with head, neck, and spine injuries. This full-time position involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care across all age groups, ensuring alignment with nursing standards, state regulations, and organizational values. The role is a hybrid of teaching and bedside nursing, fostering a supportive learning environment for students. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.Coordinate with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and outcomes.Deliver safe, effective nursing care within the scope of practice.Support and educate patients and families about treatment and recovery. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the respective state and/or compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC may be necessary based on department needs.Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
