About the role

We are seeking a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members; assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibiting sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; and maintaining involvement in activities aimed at achieving unit and departmental strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Achieves learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient, family, and group or discipline needs.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Evaluates and promotes change using data, information, and knowledge to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improve the profession of nursing.

Requirements

This job requires proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to various levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. Excellent organizational and time management skills are also required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
