Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up and delegate patient care in a secure and respectful setting.
• Employ evidence-based practices and technology to enhance patient comfort, alleviate pain, and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Contribute to the hospital's mission, vision, and core values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
• Respect patient rights, dignity, confidentiality, and individual needs.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in nursing is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A license as an RN in Florida and a current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification are required.
• Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory; two or more years of RN practice are preferred.

Supervision & Reporting

• Reports to RN/Nurse Manager.
• Might oversee Nurse Externs, LPNs, Specialty Techs, Unit Secretaries, Patient Care Assistants, and CNAs.
