RN - CSICU/CSU
Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled RN to work in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) and Cardiac Step Down Unit (CSU) at Tuscaloosa, AL.
About the Role
The RN will provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions. They will also support the care of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery on the step-down unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in the CSICU and CSU
- Support the care of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery on the step-down unit
- Participate in the patient-centered approach to care
- Work in a team environment to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients
Requirements
- 2 years of recent CVICU experience
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA NIHOr, Red Cross, AHA PALS (if working in pediatric unit)
- Required licenses: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license
- Required education: Associate degree in nursing
