RN-Critical Care - OLGMC PACU - full time, days

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead patient care within our organization. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, delegate effectively, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources
• Assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes
• Leads and partners with the interdisciplinary team to achieve unit and departmental goals
• Evaluates and promotes changes to improve patient care outcomes
• Adapts behavior to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
