RN - Critical Care Fellowship

About the role

The Critical Care Fellowship Program at Renown Regional is a guided program offering nurses clinical experiences in both the intensive care and emergency specialties. This program is designed to prepare registered nurses to work in the specialty of their choice upon completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled hours on home unit
• Complete all 9 shadow shifts within 6-12 months
• Attend all scheduled meetings with ICU/ED educators/managers
• Complete Critical Care Fellowship Orientation Packet

Requirements

• RN has successfully completed current unit orientation requirements
• Unit Manager recommendation/approval
• RN has completed all educational requirements (OLAs, required classes)
• RN has at least 6 months experience on their home unit
• No performance/attendance concerns
• No corrective actions within the last year

Qualifications

The program is intended for the RN working outside of the intensive care or emergency departments who is interested in professional advancement into the ICU or ED setting.
