Join our team as a RN Contractor Med Surg Tele Float Pool at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. This position offers a competitive rate of $70/hr for night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Float to various units as needed as part of the resource pool.
  • Participate in on-call status as required.
  • Perform population-specific competencies.
  • Conduct assessment/re-assessments and develop the plan of care.
  • Implement and evaluate appropriate patient care interventions.
  • Supervise and coordinate delegation of care to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students.
  • Ensure a physical environment free of hazards.
  • Delegate and monitor patient care, facilitate problem-solving, and educate/train staff.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member.
  • 3 years of RN patient care experience in a hospital setting OR 1 year of RN patient care experience in a hospital setting with ECMO/LVAD certification.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or completion within 30 days of hire.
  • Current ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification based on competency level or completion within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Must have a current Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier (required for operating a personal vehicle).
  • Additional qualifications and competency validation required for specialty areas such as Critical Care, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Surgical Services, Behavioral Health, or Rehab.
  • Department-specific competencies will be completed during the orientation process.

Schedule

  • Expected to work all shifts assigned by the float pool leader, including mid-shift.
  • Will float to different departments, including the Emergency Department, and facilities as needed.
  • Expected to work a minimum of 36 hours per week, including four weekend shifts per month.
  • Must work all holidays during the assignment period.

Pay

$70 per hour.
