About the role
The Clinical Supervisor (CS) position is Full-Time and works 10-hour Day shifts (no weekends or holidays).
Responsibilities
- Assists the Nurse Manager or Director in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit.
- Manages and coordinates the unit, directs and supervises caregivers, functions and activities.
- Interprets policies/procedures/protocols, standards, and regulations as appropriate.
- Maintains clinical competence and certifications to assist the unit when required.
Requirements
- California Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- ANCC recognized specialty certification (or within 1 year of hire)
- One year recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital in specialty area
- One year Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Master's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Shared Governance experience
