RN Clinical Supervisor - Ambulatory Cardiac East

About the role

Join Community Health Network as an RN Clinical Supervisor - Ambulatory Cardiac East. This role proactively works towards achieving quality and safety outcomes and assists with overall clinical staff development. You will serve as a clinical lead and resource to all clinical staff in collaboration with the practice manager, including hiring, coaching, training, education, and providing feedback on performance evaluations. Responsibilities also include ensuring retention of talent, collaborating with nursing administration and practice leadership to create efficient clinical services, implement process improvements, and assist in quality initiatives. You will assist with rooming patients and triage as needed, while adhering to established quality principles and standards.

This position is located at the professional building connected to Community Hospital East.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical lead and resource to all clinical staff.
• Collaborate with the practice manager on hiring, coaching, training, education, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure retention of talent through proper training and development of staff.
• Collaborate with nursing administration and practice leadership to create efficient clinical services and implement process improvements.
• Assist in quality initiatives and adhere to established quality principles and standards.
• Assist with rooming patients and triage as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 3 years of medical office experience required.
• 2 years of clinical supervision or lead experience preferred.
• Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes.
