Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Clinical Observation Unit. We are looking for dynamic professional applicants who value customer service and a team mentality.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process
• Delegating patient care tasks
• Supervision of other patient care staff
• Coordinating the care for a group of patients
• Consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated

Unit description

The Clinical Observation Unit can have a broad range of adult patients ambulatory and non-ambulatory, that meet initial criteria for observation. The department will serve to provide efficient protocol-based care to patients with well-defined diagnosis or presenting symptoms such as chest pain, COPD, asthma & congestive heart failure.

Schedule

The shift will be determined by each hiring manager.

Pay

The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
