About the role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented 24-bed Observation Unit, focusing on short-term treatment, monitoring, and recovery, typically within a 24-hour stay. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
