RN - Clinical Observation Unit

About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegating patient care tasks to other patient care staff.
• Supervise other patient care staff.
• Care coordination for a group of patients.
• Consult with other members of the health care team as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current West Virginia RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Pay

The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
