RN Clinical Nurse II PD - Critical Care Unit

About the role

The Critical Care Unit is an 18-bed, mixed acuity unit located on the Hillsborough campus, which opened in 2015. It provides care to adults of all ages within the surrounding community. This unit cares for a range of medical and surgical patients with critical care needs. Patients seen with complications such as: Heart Failure, Substance withdrawal, Sepsis, Mechanical ventilation, Respiratory disorders. The majority of the patients are step-down level care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient conditions, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of [State Name].
• At least one year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with critical care settings and management of complex medical/surgical patients.

Qualifications
