RN Clinical Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervision of RN’s, LPN’s and MA’s, including scheduling, managing time off requests and addressing any disciplinary issues
  • Review and completion of timecards and performance evaluations
  • Provides professional nursing care for practice patients following established standards and practices
  • Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care
  • Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians

Clinical Staff Leadership

  • Supervise and support clinical staff including medical assistants, nurses, and other clinical team members

Patient Experience

  • Ensure a high level of patient service and satisfaction across all clinical interactions

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serves as a liaison between providers, staff, and organizational leadership
  • Triage

Triage

  • Speaks directly to patients to assess what is needed, determines the level of urgency

Patient Care

  • Provides nursing care to patients as ordered
  • Performs nurse visits and administers treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing or related discipline or equivalent professional experience is required
  • Experience: 2+ years of healthcare operations or clinical management experience, preferred. Experience supervising clinical or administrative healthcare staff. Experience in a multi-provider clinical environment, preferred. Experience in orthopedics, preferred. Current CPR certification required.

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Strong problem-solving and operational improvement abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Travel

  • Travel as needed to other locations for training and to perform job functions
