About the role
Full time (36 hrs/wk), Day Shift (7a-7p). Eligible for weekend/shift differential.
The Clinical Leader PCLM provides leadership and coordinates the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, services, processes, and systems within the responsible area. Ensures quality, service, and satisfaction, continuum and process improvement, efficient utilization of resources, and financial performance while meeting productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- 75% Clinical Operation/Supervisory duties:
- Ensures quality, services, and satisfaction to clients served.
- Serves as a direct care provider when needed, maintaining recognized standards of clinical practice and patient care.
- Coordinates the integration of the interdisciplinary team to achieve effective patient outcomes, efficient resource utilization, and patient satisfaction.
- Directs, delegates, and/or engages in treatment of patients and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Serves as a central resource person and maintains open and accurate lines of communication for all customers.
- Creates efficient schedules for interdisciplinary staff and patients to ensure appropriate staff/skill mix.
- Establishes systems, processes, standards, and structure in collaboration with leadership to ensure smooth operations, safety, patient satisfaction, and effective service delivery.
- 10% Staff development and recruitment:
- Participates in recruitment activities.
- Performs staff development and acts as a clinical resource for interdisciplinary staff, facilitating learning.
- Appraises staff performance, provides feedback, goal setting, and ongoing supervision.
- Ensures appropriate orientation and communicates with staff through meetings, memos, and updates.
- 10% Quality improvement and liaison duties:
- Participates in unit and hospital-based committees to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
- Performs departmental audits and rounds daily on patients/associates to observe patient experience and associate satisfaction.
- Provides real-time feedback and coaching to associates on meeting patient and family needs.
- Acts as a communication liaison for students and vendor representatives.
- 5% Budget and resource management:
- Assists the direct manager with maintaining and identifying budget needs through cost-effective practice.
- Ensures cost-efficient use of department resources.
- As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
- Prior RN experience in a related field.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified by the American Heart Association.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.

Day Shift (7a-7p), 36 hours per week.
