RN Clinical Educator - Hemodialysis - Day Shift

About the role

ChristianaCare Hospital Hemodialysis Unit is seeking an RN Clinical Educator. The position requires working two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week, with responsibilities split between clinical education and direct patient care assignments, and flexibility to work at both the Newark and Wilmington Hemodialysis units. The unit comprises 16 beds and focuses on providing care to patients of all ages with acute or chronic kidney-related diseases. The registered nurse will be responsible for assessing each patient's needs and delivering appropriate care to address those needs.

Responsibilities

• Working two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week
• Splitting time between clinical education and direct patient care assignments
• Providing flexibility to work at both the Newark and Wilmington Hemodialysis units
• Assessing patient needs and delivering appropriate care for acute or chronic kidney-related diseases

Requirements

• Delaware RN license or Compact Nursing License
• BSN preferred; ADN candidates must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire date
