RN/Circulator - Outpatient Surgery

About the Role

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. They function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization, demonstrate professional growth and accountability, maintain standards of practice, and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using nursing processes (assess, plan, implement, and evaluate).

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required.

Work Experience

• No experience required; new graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting Preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting Preferred for PRN positions.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia State Licensure as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure Required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification Required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
