RN - Circulating Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Surgical Services team in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the RN Circulator for diverse surgical procedures
• Providing safe, high-quality perioperative care for patients across all ages
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Assisting with procedures such as endoscopic, orthopedic, ophthalmology, ENT, OB/GYN, general surgery, urology, GI, podiatry, and pediatric dental
• Participating in pre-operative, intra-operative, post-operative, and PACU patient care
• Sharing on-call responsibilities with equitable weekend and holiday coverage
• Practicing within AORN standards and Nebraska Board of Nursing regulations

Qualifications

• Current Nebraska RN license
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• PALS preferred
• Experience in OR circulating, PACU, and post-anesthesia recovery is advantageous
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient and surgical needs
