About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is responsible for overall care of assigned residents and supervision of direct care staff in the community.
Schedule
- 0600–1800 or 1800–0600
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license
- Experience in long-term healthcare preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written documentation
Responsibilities
- Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident
- Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices
- Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders in a timely manner
- Report required condition changes and events to appropriate parties
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor infection control compliance
- Investigate and document accidents and incidents
