Responsibilities
- Assess, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care during assigned shift.
- Facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to support professional growth and skill advancement.
- Continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts.
- Collaborate with other clinical and nonclinical departments to coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Demonstrate professionalism, meet regulatory and policy requirements, and uphold standards of practice.
- Hold team members accountable for safe, competent practice, quality care, and continual improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- CPR certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications per unit requirement (if not current, must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
- Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.
- Passion for nursing and teamwork.
Schedule
- 12-hour day or night shifts with weekend commitment.
