Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care during assigned shift.
• Facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to support professional growth and skill advancement.
• Continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts.
• Collaborate with other clinical and nonclinical departments to coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Demonstrate professionalism, meet regulatory and policy requirements, and uphold standards of practice.
• Hold team members accountable for safe, competent practice, quality care, and continual improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications per unit requirement (if not current, must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.
• Passion for nursing and teamwork.

Schedule

• 12-hour day or night shifts with weekend commitment.
