RN Charge

The Clinical Nurse III is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.

Requirements

• Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Nurse Specialty Education: BSN or BS Healthcare related field within 7 months of hire/promotion OR RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion
• Experience Required: 2 years RN experience
