aQua Dialysis Clear Lake is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse. We offer an outstanding work environment with a team dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. An ideal candidate has experience as a dialysis charge nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs
- Respond to dialysis treatments
- Communicate concerns to the rounding physician
- Implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed
- Communicate with the physician and other members of the healthcare team
- Interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans
- Deliver safe, effective patient care in compliance with facility policy and procedure, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state, and federal agencies
- Maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective manner
- Monitor and supervise all patient care activity during dialysis
- Aid as necessary
- Ensure educational needs of patients are met
- Provide education to patients and families about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication
Requirements
- Current Texas RN license
- CPR required

- Experience as a dialysis charge nurse
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
- Knowledge of End Stage Renal Disease and dialysis therapy

Pay
- Salary commensurate with experience
Schedule
- Open 6 days per week (closed Sundays)
- Typical hours are 10 hour days with an early shift starting at 4:30am
- Full-time is 3-4 days per week with alternate weekends off
