RN Charge

• Develops self and team members and shares organizational information.
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Care for a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
• Act as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• B.S. in Nursing or related healthcare field within 7 months of hire/promotion
• Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion
• 2 years RN experience
