Job Overview
The Martin Luther Care Center RN Charge nurse leads, supervises, and directs all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor to ensure care is provided according to the patient's plan of care. This position must demonstrate sound management skills through problem-solving and decision-making. They are responsible for supervising in compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Standards and policies for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN (Martin Luther Care Center).
- Team includes a Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Social Worker, and more.
- This position includes: 80 hours per two weeks, Day shift, Weekends as needed.

The Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living campus, is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Responsibilities
Affirms staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice, and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards.
Affirms Care Plan, medical records, and other documentation are up to date.
Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
Reports problem areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions.
Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Required Minimum: Associates RN Degree
One to three years' experience required
Current MN RN license by start date
CPR / BLS certified
Qualifications
Preferred: BSN preferred
Three to five years experience preferred
Previous LTC management experience preferred

Pay
