About the role

Coordinate unit staffing and lead the team to ensure quality patient care and clinical objectives are met. Assign, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts. Assess patient care needs and delegate assignments to ensure appropriate care delivery. Monitor patient outcomes, address care concerns, and support staff development and performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit staffing and lead the team to ensure quality patient care and clinical objectives are met.
• Assign, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Assess patient care needs and delegate assignments to ensure appropriate care delivery.
• Monitor patient outcomes, address care concerns, and support staff development and performance evaluation.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 1 Year experience preferred.
• Previous charge or board running experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Week day day shift, 0630 start, On Call component, weekend and holiday call rotation.
