Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Sanford Health is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. They collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN cares for residents across all phases of health, from prevention to diagnosis and treatment. They coordinate care, assess residents, educate them, and perform various nursing interventions. In some cases, they may serve as a charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Chamberlain Care Center is located in Chamberlain, SD, and is part of Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States. The facility provides access to world-class health care in the heartland.

Schedule

The position is full-time with varied shifts ranging from 12 hours per shift. Weekly hours are 36.00.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $32.00 - $48.00 per hour.
