RN, Cath Lab - Interventional Radiology

Position Summary

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. The employee shall support Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.

Responsibilities

• Directs unlicensed employee activity
• Synthesizes patient information
• Assesses patients
• Plans care/interventions
• Teaches patients/family
• Implements treatment plan/MD orders
• Evaluates care rendered

Qualifications

• Two years Critical Care or ED Nursing experience
• Two years Cardiovascular Laboratory experience preferred
• In lieu of this experience, consideration will be made for an employee with strong education and associated experiential background
• Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred
• Current California RN license
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher preferred
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card
• Current ACLS card
• Specialty certification preferred
