About the role
This role is located in High Point, North Carolina at a facility with 351 licensed beds. It is not designated as a trauma center but offers services like a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
Responsibilities
- Work 4-10 hours per day with rotating on-call shifts
- On-call shifts occur on Mondays from 1730-0700, Saturdays and Sundays from 7a-7a, and holidays from 7a-7a
- Every fifth weekend rotation includes on-call shifts
- Will not accept first-time travelers
- Knowledge of vascular cases is preferred
- Must have BLS, ACLS certifications
- Experience with dysrhythmias, moderate sedation, perivascular cases, and high acuity STEMI cases is preferred
- Scrub and document skills are required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN with critical care and cath lab experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a cardiac cath tech
- BLS, ACLS certifications required
- ARRT-R or equivalent certification required for cardiac cath tech
- NIHSS knowledge required for cardiac cath tech
Qualifications
Must be able to perform clinical interviewing with a manager conducting the final interview.
Skills
- RN: Dysrhythmias and moderate sedation. Perivascular cases. High acuity cases for STEMI (preferred)
- Cardiac Cath Tech: scrub and document skills; also knowledge of vascular cases

Support within the Department
A 3-person call team consisting of an RN, RT, and RCIS is available.

Orientation is provided at NEO for 2 days.
