About the Role
A Registered Nurse position in a Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care during complex cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures independently, including pre-procedure preparation, sterile technique, IV administration, hemodynamic monitoring, and documentation.
- Provide intraprocedural care for stable and unstable Cath/PCI/EP patients, utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Administer conscious sedation, ensure patient safety, and verify patient identity and orders.
- Assist with patient transport, comfort, and privacy while maintaining departmental records and compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, build trust, and promote patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality assurance, in-service training, and support departmental operations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS required at hire.
- Minimum one year of ICU/CCU/ER or Cath Lab/EP Lab experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English and a positive attitude.
