About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
• Monitor and record patient health data
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Ensure patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Pass a drug test

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
