Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact person and coordinator for adults with disabilities in a group home setting in Berkshire County
- Be part of a great supportive team environment
- Help individuals with disabilities live their best lives through community engagement, enriching activities, and good health
- Provide staff training and support on medical issues and techniques as needed
- Perform health care assessments and develop written health care plans
- Consult with program staff on specific medical interventions, techniques and documentation requirements
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license with at least one year experience
- Some experience with people with developmental challenges preferred
- Valid driver’s license & Insured Vehicle
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of disability-related issues and resources
