About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures
• Maintain standards of practice
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff
• Deliver quality nursing services

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred, with at least 1 year for PRN roles
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate license
• BCLS certification required
• Additional certification in specialty areas is a plus
