RN - Cardiac Telemetry - Part Time

About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They work within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of practice and ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Incorporate professional growth and accountability in daily tasks.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible.
• Hospital experience preferred, especially for PRN roles.
• Valid RN license for the state; current BCLS certification.
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, or chemotherapy certification.

Skills

• Strong assessment, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to adapt to various clinical specialties, including cardiac, critical care, dialysis, emergency, infusion, pediatrics, surgical services, and women’s services.
• Relevant specialty certifications within specified timeframes are required for specific units.
