Part Time Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a progressive care setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety and quality compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care aligned with standards and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health management and medication administration.
• Participate in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development.
• Develop and document personalized care plans with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Active RN license required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• Telemetry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
