About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies, ensuring professional growth, accountability, and adherence to practice standards. The nurse coordinates care activities for assigned staff to deliver high-quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
• BCLS certification required
• Additional specialty certifications as applicable (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy)
• Relevant certifications must be obtained within specified timeframes for certain specialties

Responsibilities

• Maintain practice standards and coordinate patient care activities
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
