RN - Cardiac Neuro ICU - Nights

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in the Cardiac Neuro ICU, adhering to state and hospital policies. Employ critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet unit goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with state and hospital policies.
• Assess patient conditions and recognize changes in status.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS).
• ACLS certification within six months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of RN critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (preferred).

Schedule

Night shifts: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (Weekender position).
