RN - Cardiac Imaging

Position: Registered Nurse, Cardiac Imaging Location: Highland Park, Rapid Consulting Center Role Overview: Perform stress testing, develop and evaluate individualized care plans, and provide comprehensive patient assessment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients on disease management, emergency care, and medications, tailoring instruction to cultural and learning needs. Support professional development of colleagues and contribute to performance improvement and research activities. Assist technical staff with procedures like contrast injections and IV management, and provide psychological support to patients. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and assist with patient transport when necessary. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferredCertifications: BLS, ACLSExperience in Cardiac Imaging; prior stress testing experience preferredStrong critical thinking skills Key Duties: Conduct stress tests, assess and plan patient care, communicate with healthcare team, educate patients, support staff, participate in quality and research activities, and maintain compliance with regulations.
