RN Break Relief - Admin - Lakewood - FT Nights (40 hours)

Requirements

• Mandatory: Current CA RN License
• Mandatory: Current BLS Provider
• Mandatory: Current ACLS Provider
• Minimum six (6) months nursing experience
• Mandatory: Six months nursing experience for 3 West Medical Surgical
• Mandatory: Six months nursing experience for 2 East Telemetry
• Mandatory: Six months nursing experience for 2 West Telemetry
• Mandatory: Six months nursing experience for North/Dou Department
• Mandatory: Six months nursing experience for CCU
• Mandatory: Six months nursing experience for ICU

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or above preferred
• Acute hospital experience preferred
• Basic cardiac care course or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and basic arrhythmia interpretation preferred
• Critical Care Course preferred
• Previous critical care and/or open heart experience preferred
• Previous critical care experience in acute care setting preferred

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for long periods of time, approximately 75%
• Sitting is approximately 25%
• Must be able to transfer and lift patients as necessary

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must be free from signs of illness and infections

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
